Eliciting lots giggles from the rest of the after party peeps sprawled all over Alfie's bed...
What am I going on about you ask?
Well the other day after a short night out (pubs and clubs close at 3am in KL..shockingly early!!!!), we decide to have an after-party and thats where Alfie's room at the Shangri-La comes in! To stock up for this exciting plan, we skip over to the 7-Eleven for supplies and typically you would imagine everyone rushing for the beer and wines section right? Wrong! Its Ice-Lemon Tea night as can upon can of the stuff lands on the counter...and thats where the war of teas starts.
Parkie(Jun Hong) goes on to suggest that the Lipton brand is the IT, while the Seasons brand is in my opinion, the best in the market yet. This racket goes on for a suprisingly looong time till everyone around us wants to knock us on our heads. Were only pacified by the discovery of the ice-cream section where we both go ga ga over the ice cream sandwich....
Fast forward to the after-party which entails sipping of ice lemon tea, figting for space on alfie's pillows, watching korean soaps, listening to black eyed peas and getting home at 6am in the morning...probably the 2nd or 3rd time ever in all my almost 3 years in Malaysia...
