hodi hodi Narobi!

So im finally in the capital,Nairobi and thoughts its been barley 48hrs I can smell a very happening holiday this time round.
I have to say Im very proud of my little city now despite any stuff the media feed us.There isa natural tendancy to compare it with some of the other cities Ive been to and I can now proudly say that we are catching up and we are sooo in! If there is a time from anyone to visit Kenya,it is absolutely now.
Coffee shops galore, branded goods all over the joints, Kenyans finally taking charge of their own affairs,public transport running and road safety measures in place like there is no tommorow(you need to buckle up in a bus or matatu or else you risk a nasty fine!), music blaring matatus, gorgeus looking people on the streets, tall people(I live in asia so this is significant), cleanup of the streets in the CBD(few though they may be), Kenchic chips and kuku porno(pornographic chicken-referring to the bare chicken on a spit rotating on the window display of any chips shop-JUMMY!!), fresh air, blue skies, no humidity, getting hit on(not a common occurence for an african babe living in asia), less personal distance, technology development, the banana vs orange campaigns leading to the referendum on the constitution in about 2 weeks....ai! you cant beat that.
Im still overwhelmed by all the great stuff and totally loving it.
Trip to Kampala and Uganda is in the cards so if there are any nomads in that sector of the globe lets catch up?
Ahhh! im off to get me some greasy kenchic chips and a thigh of that porn chicken:)
